About us
Who are we?
We are a family of 4. Bettina is a kindergarten teacher and Jo is an employee at a transport company. Together we have 2 beautiful children Anouk and Luna. Our dream to open a B&B has always been there. We all grew up in Aalst, so it seemed logical to us to start it in our hometown.
B&B Hof Ter Koningen
After a long search for a suitable location, we will open the doors of our B&B Hof Ter Koningen in March 2020. The original building dates from 1763 and used to be a manservant's house, which was part of the castle of Gijzegem, a small neighbouring municipality. So it has a historical background and a lot of character.
In 1,5 years time we renovated the whole house into a Bed and Breakfast with 2 guest rooms of which 1 luxury room with sauna. All rooms are named after important figures from the carnival world. In the 2 guest rooms are the necessary facilities available, there is also a large garden where you can relax.
